Manjistha — Indian madder, Rubia cordifolia — is the deep red root traditionally classed as a rakta shodhana, a purifier for blood and skin. In Tamil households it has long been the first answer for congested, angry-looking skin. We slow-cure the root into a 150 g bar with neem and turmeric so it does its work exactly where breakouts start: at the wash.

How to use it

Lather and leave on the skin for about 30 seconds before rinsing, so the herbs get contact time. Daily on the body, once a day on the face. The madder tint is natural and rinses clean. Patch test before first use.

How to Use

1. Wet the bar and lather in your hands.
2. Massage over face, back, arms — wherever breakouts show up.
3. Leave the lather on for 30 seconds, then rinse well.
4. Use daily. Give it 3–4 weeks to show on the skin.
